Sow A Seed Save A Life

Dear Churches:

I was given a vision from God about the sowing seeds through the churches in the San Joaquin valley to help and increase God's vision for saving souls.  Jesus spoke to me through the book of Luke 4:18 where Jesus says:  “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor;” There are many scriptures like this spoken in the Bible that are related to how God is in favor for the poor.  Found in Proverbs 21:13, “Those who shut their ears to the cries of the poor will be ignored in their own time of need”.

The bible teaches that in the last days there will be an increase in death with famine and with pestilence - Revelation 6:8.

I’m asking for the Christian churches and their members in the city of Stockton to stand up and join me together by introducing the “Sharing the Faith Ministry”. This ministry will help start organic food gardens to provide food for families in need.  In this present time where people are losing their jobs, there will be an increase of families and individuals needing some sort of accessible food supply.  With the ever-increasing homeless problem, suicides, sickness, and people in desperation, these people are willing to do anything to protect themselves and survive. The church can be a pillar of hope guided by God to make a difference in our community. It is important to plan now so that we can start helping the families in need. If churches and Christian families have some land at their residence and can commit to helping support a food garden for families in need,  this will help the churches be seen as a “One Bride” united by working together in reaching the needs of the poor for Jesus.  By helping the Sharing the Faith Ministry, people can truly be a blessing and be blessed in doing God’s work. Proverbs 19:17  states, “Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done.”

With the shelter in place mandates firmly enforced, the church is in a great position to reach the lost souls and to minister the word of God.  We can bring hope to people’s lives through this unique ministry program.  By committing your time to sowing seeds and helping maintain food gardens at the comfort of your own home, we can show the community that we are making a real difference. This will be a true testament to how as a church we are acting as one body of God's love.

When we honor God by doing his will, we will be a blessing to those who God wants to bless. This also positions God’s children that do his work to fulfill God’s promise that he will bless and protect his church during these troubled times.

If every member of the Sharing the Faith ministry participates in the “Sow a Seed Save A Life” program, I believe that thousands of lives in the San Joaquin Valley and beyond can be reached and be ministered to.  Let us demonstrate to the City of Stockton that our ministry can be strong leaders and will lead by example. These acts will show our community that Christians are truly the Light of the World. Join the Sharing the Faith Ministry today and we will work together as one “spirit” planting seeds of compassion.
